Course description

Apply your knowledge of organizational goals with an understanding of union activities to achieve an optimal strategy for labour management cooperation.  You will discover strategies for dealing with certification, collective bargaining, interpretation and administration of collective agreements, and resolution of grievances.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, the learners will be able to 
  • summarize the essentials of the topic of labour relations.
  • exercise your knowledge of labour relations and union issues.
  • recognize key negotiation and collective bargaining skills.
  • idenify when and where to get expertise from in your organization.
